The Bulgarian Bag was introduced 12 years ago at the Olympic Training Center in Marquette, MI by creator Ivan Ivanov. An Olympian himself in Greco Roman Wrestling, Coach Ivanov designed the bag to be versatile, effective and ideal for group training scenarios. It simultaneously trains all the attributes on the athletic continuum:
• Strength
• Speed
• Power
• Endurance
• Mobility
• Coordination
In terms of developing rotational power, core stabilization and grip endurance, the Bulgarian Bag is unmatched! The design of the bag allows for dynamic movements not possible with conventional weight equipment. Thus, the reason first responders, military, UFC fighters and Olympic Training Centers around the world have made it part of their conditioning programs. Watch the below video to see the Bulgarian Bag in action!
Ken will be leading the seminar and is one of only a handful of Pro Trainers in the world certified by Ivan to teach his methodology. What you will learn at the seminar:
• All the basic and dynamic exercises
• Proper technique and breathing
• Example workouts and circuits
• How to combine with other fitness tools
• How to choose a bag that is right for you
• Safe learning progressions
